2006 Expression of Hope Gallery

Welcome to the Expression of Hope Gallery where you can view the exciting artwork submitted by people around the world who are part of the LSD community. As you’ll see, Expression of Hope touched people in many countries and of varied ages and backgrounds. Each piece of artwork brings a new perspective on life as seen through the lens of living with an LSD. We hope that everyone who experiences this art will be inspired and moved by the powerful expressions of the human spirit which the pieces reveal.

The Expression of Hope Gallery is divided into three sections:

Expression of Hope Featured Artwork

The works of art in this section were selected by a juried panel from the Center for Art and Community Partnerships at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A .The panel viewed all of the submitted works and selected eighteen pieces based on the technical and emotive quality of the art along with its ability to infuse the viewer with insight and appreciation of the hope and spirit of the person portrayed. These works are currently part of the traveling Expression of Hope Exhibit.

Expression of Hope Collaborations

The artwork in this section represents collaborations between individuals living with an LSD and artists from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Expression of Hope invited them to form virtual relationships so that the artists could learn about and understand living with an LSD. The artists then created works which express their interpretation of that shared knowledge.

In this section are all of the submitted artwork which met program guidelines. Pieces were sent in from around the world and we’re sure you’ll be inspired by both the shared themes and the wide variety of individual expressions.
